Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a movement coach based in Santa Cruz, CA, passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and feel empowered in their everyday lives. My interests range from climbing and hiking to traveling, building, and creating—essentially, anything that challenges me both mentally and physically. I thrive on pushing my limits and continuously pushing limits in order to grow.
My coaching journey began in 2014 when I joined a CrossFit gym. What started as a personal fitness pursuit quickly evolved into a deeper interest in understanding movement and supporting others in understanding their own bodies through movement. As I became a CrossFit coach, I gained invaluable experience, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in fitness. In 2020, I took the leap and started my own business to better serve individuals on their own movement journeys.
I realized that to truly help people, I needed to offer more than just group classes. I wanted to take a more personalized, holistic approach, as I saw so many clients struggling with pain and wanting to understand their bodies on a deeper level. This led me to offer individualized coaching that addresses not only physical needs but also mental and emotional well-being.
I work with people to help them overcome pain, improve body awareness, and regain the ability to do the activities they love. My approach is full-body centric, rooted in the understanding that everything in the body is interconnected—no part operates in isolation.
For me, coaching is about more than just movement. It’s about helping you feel more at home in your body, move with purpose, and build lasting strength—so you can continue doing what you love for years to come.
