Steak and Balsamic & Red Onion Dressing

Steak and Balsamic & Red Onion Dressing (1 serving)

4 ounces Sirloin Steak  

1.5 cups Romaine Lettuce

½ cup red pepper

5 cherry tomatoes, halved

¼ slice red onion

1 tablespoon olive oil oil

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Trader joes balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds or pepitas

1 tablespoon Feta

Instructions

  1. Make dressing: 

    1. Slice red onion and put into a medium size bowl.

    2. Add in oil, balsamic glaze, apple cider vinegar and salt & pepper

    3. Let sit for at least 15 min

  2. Heat up grill or frying pan (if frying pan add a little oil)

  3. Salt all sides of the sirloin steak

  4. Cook sirloin steak to desired doneness & let rest for 10 min 

  5. Make Salad:

    1. Slice Romaine Lettuce, tomatoes & red pepper and put into the bowl containing the dressing

    2. Top with sunflower seeds and feta and toss

  6. Slice steak and top the salad
