What is conscious eating? Why is it important?

Conscious eating are tips and instructions to help you plan your meals, so that we can make choices that help us take steps towards our desired health and wellness outcomes!

Eating and meal prep should be a part of your week that you are excited about! It is a part of the week where you are able to think about foods you enjoy and incorporate them into everyday life.

Basic Tips

  • Make a menu at the beginning of the week - see our meal plans.

  • Schedule a time to shop and do your meal prep.

  • Make sure you’re enjoying yourself and check in with how everything feels.

  • Make meals that consist of a protein, fat, carbohydrate & vegetable

Pick a Realistic Meal Plan

  • Set yourself up for success by picking foods that you enjoy.

  • Choose an appropriate meal plan that is realistic for you and you know that you can do long term.

Get the right Kitchen Tools

We want it to be as easy as possible. Some kitchen tools I recommend are:

  • Crock Pot

  • Instant Pot

  • Air Fryer

Meal Prep Tips

Prepare and Chop Ahead of Time

  • Cut up veggies at the beginning of the week.

  • Keep them in easy to grab containers in the fridge.

  • Prepare protein that can be incorporated into a lot of different dishes.

Pre-Make Smoothie

Grab all of your ingredients and put them into small bags and store them in the freezer. When you’re ready to blend, grab your bag, add water, and blend!

Leftovers and Freezing

Make your cooking simple. Cook in large batches that will give you enough leftovers and freeze what you don’t need for that week. So, when life gets busy you can quickly grab a health meal.
